This production by Zeshan Bhatti provides the audiences a whirlwind view of all the things that can go wrong (or right in some cases) at an Indian wedding. Many Bollywood films draw a single story line from the insanity that can very occasionally occur between two different families at actual weddings, though rarely as public a fiasco as “Bollywood Wedding” portrays.

I Hate Luv Storys
Imran Khan & Sonam Kapoor
"I Hate Luv Storys" is a very long a predictable Bollywood movie with a plot full of holes. Jay, played by Imran Khan, is the typical guy who does not believe in love stories, whereas Simran (Sonam Kapoor) is the typical Yash Chopra wannabe heroine who believes in everything that happens in the movies. The movie lacks suspense and has very poor execution. In the beginning of the movie the viewer knows that the two leads will end up together, and as the movie progresses, the story is about how they end up together....More...

Play Review: Chaos Theory
Chaos theory is a field of study in mathematics, physics, and philosophy studying the behavior of dynamical systems that are highly sensitive to initial conditions. Chaos Theory is also a dynamic play currently playing at the Pulse Ensemble Theatre. As nerdy and deep of a topic Chaos Theory can be, this play puts the topic in real life events. In layman terms, the theory lends to a state of disorder but it being dependent on a constant...More...

Love Sex Aur Dhoka
Quite frankly I did not expect this movie to be good, but I was really pleasantly surprised. LSD is broken out into three short stories that all take place in the same time frame.
The love story is about a rookie filmmaker falling in love with the heroine who auditions to be in his movie. This story is actually why I am giving this movie a B. The initial 25 minutes just were not told very well, and the attempt at humor was not funny. Once you get past 25 minutes, the movie starts getting better and interesting. In fact towards the end of this short story I was getting lost...More...
Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?
This movie was ok, but it was irritating and the songs were terrible. The entire premise is based on the fact that Ajay Devgan is a writer in the movie, and Konkona Sen is an interior designer and his wife. They have a son who learns at school that “atithi”, or guests, are like gods, so it is important to treat them very well. From that day the child keeps requesting they get a guest. Do Knot Disturb
The quality of Bollywood comedies can range anywhere from high quality like Hera Pheri to something seriously circuitous and headachy like De Dana Dan.This movie is more like the latter. It started off funny enough and sort of cute, and then as time went on it got too strange, loud, and irritating.
The story starts off about a businessman (Govinda) who is cheating on his wife Kiran (Sushmita Sen) with an item girl named Dolly (Lara Dutta). Kiran hires a detective (Ranvir Shorey) to get the proof she needs to catch her husband red-handed...More...

Sita Sings the Blues
As Indian cartoons go, there isn’t much of a high bar to pass, but this movie manages to be intelligent, thought-provoking, and mildly controversial at the same time. Karthik Calling Karthik
Karthik Calling Karthik is a movie that is strictly ok, and that is because the plot builds up to a totally flat resolution in the end after steadily going uphill for 3 hours. It is about an IIM topper (Farhan Akhtar) who somehow ends up as a friendless peon working in a construction company. He also has a crush on a lovely coworker (Deepika Padukone) who does not even know he works at the company; much less that he has a crush on her...More...
My Name is Khan: SRK & Kajol Reunite
Shahrukh Khan and Kajol Devgan
“My name is Khan and I am not a terrorist” are the words that echo throughout the thought-provoking latest release by Karan Johar. “My Name is Khan” is not your typical Bollywood musical romance full of lip-synching and dance sequences; it is a reality check in this post 9/11 world. The story starts off with Rizwan Khan (Shahrukh Khan) narrating his journey to meet the President of the United States, as the movie progresses we are introduced to Rizwan’s childhood and his struggles as a child living with Asperger’s Syndrome...More...
