Glamour and Gossip from IIFA!

IIFA Weekend was full of fans, papparazzi and lots of Bollywood gossip! Urban Milan was front line and center for IIFA Weekend and has some interesting news and gossip to share with UM Readers!
IIFA Weekend was filled with hundreds of Bollywood and Hollywood Celebrities, which included big names such as Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Hilary Swank and Tom Green! Some of their fans could not get enough of them and did whatever it took to get noticed by them. One fan in particular went a little overboard and grabbed Shahrukh Khan's legs while he was on stage for the IIFA Awards and begged Shahrukh to give him a chance to be an actor! The crazed fan wouldn't let go of poor Shahrukh's injured leg and was escorted off of the stage!
Besides fan incidents, the IIFA Awards had a couple of star blunders..."Dabang" actress, Sonakshi Sinha had a fashion faux pas, she had lipstick on her teeth when she came on stage to accept an award! The camera man accidentally zoomed in on it several times!
Dia Mirza and Shashi Tharoor announced Priyanka Chopra as the winner of the "Green Initiative Award", however Priyanka didn't turn up on the stage leaving Dia to explain that she was probably getting ready for her upcoming performance!
Lisa Ray may have made the biggest IIFA blunder during the awards, when announcing the name of the Band Baaja Baraat actress, she announced Anushka Sharma as Anushka Shankar, mixing it up with Ravi Shankar's daughter! Anushka wasn't very pleased when she came on stage and thanked Karan Johar for correcting her last name for the audience!
IIFA Weekend was full of press conferences, green carpets and after parties, many of the stars took advantage of attending the afterparties and partied with their fans. One star in particular partied a bit too hard and fell off a table, Arjun Rampal had a little too much fun, besides trying to dance on tables he also recieved a lap dance at the party!
At the Fairmont Royal York official after party for the IIFA Awards, Rishi Kapoor decided he was too big of a star to wait for a picture... One of his female fans asked Rishi for a picture, while waiting for the camera flash, Rishi decided he didn't want to wait a second so he walked off in the middle of the picture! Some stars are too big to wait to take a picture with an adoring fan!
In between awards shows and press conferences, stars had a chance to explore the lovely city of Toronto, some stars had different ways of exploring than others....Bipasha Basu decided that she wanted her own personal driver for the whole weekend, Bips wanted the driver more for then just personal errands, apparently she has a thing for married older men with kids and offered him more then just a tip for his services!
Still in the closet, Karan Johar, asked his driver to take him to a local gay bar. The biggest diva of all according to many was Priyanka Chopra, she directed her driver to take wrong turns and asking him to go whichever direction she wanted causing him to recieve a number of tickets!
