Chaos theory is a field of study in mathematics, physics, and philosophy studying the behavior of dynamical systems that are highly sensitive to initial conditions. Chaos Theory is also a dynamic play currently playing at the Pulse Ensemble Theatre. As nerdy and deep of a topic Chaos Theory can be, this play puts the topic in real life events. In layman terms, the theory lends to a state of disorder but it being dependent on a constant. The play eloquently shifts between the “constant” as it is dependent on each character. Each actor navigates well through each setting from Delhi, New York, Boston as they pass through each phase of life. The constancy between the 2 main characters is their love for education, but as they move through the years, the audience gets a hint that even the constants can change - from love of Shakespeare, to friendship, to love, and even letting go. In the play, "Chaos Theory" defines that the dynamic system of life is highly sensitive to initial conditions of human emotion and that even in a state of disorder, there is an essence of order.
