In the heart of the theatrical world, where creativity knows no bounds, a comedy-meets-illusion show has been making waves – "The Mind Mangler: A Night of Tragic Illusion". The show is a creation of the Mischief Theatre Company, the same minds behind the successful “The Play That Goes Wrong” and “Peter Pan Goes Wrong” productions.

The audience joins the “MIND Mangler” as he returns to the stage following a disappointing two-night run at the Scranton, PA Holiday Inn conference center, suite 2b. His new show spirals into chaos as he attempts to read your MIND. During the course of this mind-boggling show, the audience will laugh, be in a state of confusion and learn some shocking truths! There is also a bit of magic amongst the chaos.

The show stars Henry Lewis as the Mind Mangler and Jonathan Sayer as the "Audience Member". Both Lewis and Sayer are co-founders of Mischief Theatre Company and co-wrote the show along with Henry Shields. The show is directed by Hannah Sharkey. The play initially premiered as a one-act show at the 2022 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. It then toured the UK from November 2022 to April 2023 in a two-act version.

“Mind Mangler: A Night of Tragic Illusion” is a testament to the creative genius of Mischief Theatre Company. It’s a must-see for anyone who enjoys a good laugh and a touch of magic. The show has been very well-received and is recommended for ages 8 and up. This two-hour show is currently playing off-Broadway at the New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) from November 2023 to March 2024.
