“Love, Loss and What I Wore” is an Off-Broadway show that contains a collection of intimate recollections by Nora and Delia Ephron. The show involves a rotating cast of five that include stars such as Fran Drescher, Rosie O’Donnell, Tyne Daly and Rhea Perlman. The collection of monologues is based on the bestselling book by Ilene Beckerman and the Ephron sisters. The play revolves around clothing and the memories triggered by each article of clothing. The play is the perfect blend of humor and emotion and expresses how each article of clothing or accessory can define a moment in a person’s life, whether it’s your Girl Scout uniform, wedding dress or your favorite purse.
The actresses bring to life each intimate story with their expressions and their emotions on stage. The play makes you realize that each article of clothing can stir up an emotion or a memory of a person that you have loved or lost, whether it be a friend a lover or a family member.
