"Where's the Party Yaar?" are the words that echo throughout Benny Mathew's last hit "Where's the Party", starring Kal Penn. In his latest film Mathew's continues with his comedic touch and creates a hilarious film entitled "Geeta in Paradise". The main character of the film is a middle-aged woman who seems to live in her own world. She is a Mother, Daughter, Wife and a Best Friend, yet she isn't successful at any one of these roles. Her marraige is falling apart, her Mother constantly criticizes her for the way she takes care of her son and manages her household, yet she remains lost in her own world until something changes. Geeta finds out that a famous director is hiding out in her city and she decides that in order to change her life she needs to become the main lead in his next film.
After searching for days she finally finds the director and saves him from a mobster, but instead of letting him go she decides to kidnap him and show him why she should be the lead in his next film. Without any acting or dancing experience Geeta is persistent in showing the director what talent or rather lack of talent she has.
The film does a great job of keeping the audience laughing, from watching Geeta make a fool of herself with her auditions to watching Geeta's best friend in decorating action.
