Tender Steak & Sushi: A Midtown Must

Located in the swanky Sanctuary Hotel, Tender Steak & Sushi has a trendy vibe and serves up an array of delicious cuisine. We were invited to experience all that Tender has to offer with a three-course Dinner at this Midtown West restaurant and lounge.
The Tender Steak & Sushi is a beautiful restaurant with a fantastic menu! With four different cuts of steak, an excellent selection of sushi, plenty of pasta and salad options, this restaurant has something for everyone. We started our night with one of their sexy cocktails, the Shadow Martini. Their menu has a wide range of cocktails and an excellent sake selection. Tender serves a wide variety of salads and pastas. The salad selections include a Caesar Salad with a fried egg, Kale Salad, Iceberg Cross Wedge and an Asian Chicken Salad. The pasta selection does not disappoint, they have a Penne Bolognese, Lobster Fra Diavolo and our favorite, which is the Truffle Tagliatelle. |
With four different cuts of steak it was hard to choose, however we decided on the Filet Mignon which was cooked to perfection. Other steak options include a bone-in filet, a Black Angus rib eye, and the classic NY strip. There is a poterhouse available too, but at 40 oz it's definitely steak for two. The steaks include a sauce/topping of your choice, and we decided on the Truffle Butter which was incredible! The other sauces available include a bernaise, peppercorn and chimichurri. For those that don't feel like steak, there are other great entree options including a variety of fish, meat loaf, roast chicken, and many others.
Tender features a decadent selection of desserts. If you are a chocolate lover, we recommend the Chocolate Mousse. For those that crave a lighter dessert we recommend ordering from their selection of vibrant sorbet flavors such as lemon basil, mango or raspberry.
