Whites, Reds and Blush scented the air at the Jacob Javits center on February 25th during the 4th Annual New York Wine Expo (www.NewYorkWineExpo.com). Wines from around the world were present and aromas tempted guests to try a taste of the wines featured. Greece, Spain, Italy and many other countries were represented at the Wine Expo.
In addition to tastings, attendees learned how to impress their friends with wine knowledge and learned how to have more confidence in ordering off a wine list by attending special educational seminars that turned the most inexperienced wine lover into a seasoned connoisseur!
The Grand Tasting offered attendees a chance to sample more than 600 wines from over 150 winemakers from around the globe. “Wine makers love to come to New York because the attendees are eager to try new varietals and blends as well as share their personal passion for wine,” said Ed Hurley, New York Wine Expo Show Director. “It is an exciting time for the wine industry, with every region of world now offering unique and flavorful wines at affordable prices, and the Wine Expo is the place to be to see them all in one place.”
The Expo was not only a great event for wine tasting, it was also unique event for the learning experience. The Wine expo offered seminars such as "Taste Wine Like a Pro: Learn the Secrets Behind How to Taste Wine Through a Blind Tasting" and "Wine 101: Crash Course on Wine Basics".
