Malan Breton presented his Spring/Summer 2017 collection during Style Fashion Week at the glamorous Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. The presentation started with an elegant dance performance to traditional Asian music. The interpretive dancing perfectly set the stage for his Taiwanese inspired SS17 looks.
The collection featured both men’s and women’s clothing. Each look was unique and focused on individual trends. Notable women’s trends included long dresses, metallic, flowy silhouettes, patterned pants, large handbags, strappy heels, denim jackets, sheer fabrics and flamboyant gowns. Notable men’s trends included denim on denim, muted camouflage print, floral print blazers, blazers paired with jeans, and metallic fabrics. The finale of the show was certainly one to remember. An army of men dressed in just black briefs marched out and a woman in a long, sparkly gown emerged from the troupe. Malan Brenton himself then joined her on the runway wearing a deep red, velvet suit. To learn more about Malan Breton and view his collections, click here. |
