Top 15 Products from the 2019 Indie Beauty Expo!

Indie Beauty Expo (IBE) returned to New York City last week to share over 230 of the latest up and coming beauty brands such as LaFlore, Knours, Good Science Beauty and more with influencers, media and buyers (unlike last year, which was open to consumers as well). IBE provides market-ready indie brands the chance to showcase their products to audiences in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, and most recently London and Berlin. Attendees experienced mini makeovers, hair trials and loads of skincare samples and makeup swabs!
This event was not limited to skincare and beauty brands, though - supplement (e.g. Tonic), oral care (e.g. Terra & Co.) and fragrance (e.g. Tokyo Milk) brands were also present throughout the event. Clean, natural ingredients and CBD were definitely themes throughout all skincare, makeup and health brands as well, namely with brands InstaNatural and Sweet Mary Jane.

Brushopolis is a Minneapolis-based innovative beauty company that makes salon-standard brushes for the everyday person. The company’s newest brush, Utopia, is already being used by top celebrity stylists! Not only does this brush leave your hair looking shiny and bouncy, but it also exfoliates the scalp while distributing your natural oils from root to end.

Limese Purifying Ampoule
Limese is a Korean skincare brand that caters to everyone. Whether you are just starting your skincare journey or already own one million serums, you’ll love their products! Limese’s purifying ampoule is a serum that unclogs pores and cleanses the skin with it’s main ingredient- MC-Glucan (a purified extract from mushroom). This product is best used at night, so that you wake up looking and feeling refreshed.

Erbaviva Lemon & Sage Organic Deodrant
Amazing organic deodorants are few and far between. Either they cause your armpit to itch, don’t smell great, or don’t last long enough. Erbaviva is here to fill this gap! Any of the brand’s products would make for a great gift thanks to the glamorous packaging, too.

Korean beauty brand Naisture’s skincare kits offer everything you’d possibly need for a night of self-care. The kits include sheet masks for the hair, feet, hands, eyes and face and come in super cute (and functional!) resealable packages. These sheet masks are so moisturizing that you literally feel as if you are bringing the spa straight into your home - sans the expensive price tag!
