Sleek, Fast and Powerful are some of the words that come to mind when describing the new HTC 10. The new phone is one of the most advanced Android phones out on the market today. The HTC 10 comes in both an unlocked GSM, for use on carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile, and a CDMA version, for use on Verizon. Both phones can be used outside the United States by simply inserting a local SIM. In fact, we put the GSM HTC 10 to the test on a trip overseas in Europe.
Power Having switched from the iPhone to the new HTC 10, we have noticed a big improvement in battery life. We used apps, listened to music and took tons of photos and videos during our testing period. In the past, doing all of those things on the iPhone required us to constantly carry around a portable charger and be near an outlet every couple of hours. With the HTC 10, we have been able to go through a full day of heavy use without having to charge the phone. Under light usage the phone can last up to 2 days without a charge! The HTC 10 supports Quick Charge 3.0, which can charge the battery to 50% in just 30 minutes- now that's power on the go! Performance Sporting a Snapdragon 820 processor we enjoyed snappier app performance on the HTC 10 than other Android smart phones we have used in the past. The screen reacts instantaneously to your touch and the reaction time takes some time getting used to. Switching from one app to another is fast and without any delay. From Instagram to Google Maps, we use an average of ten-twelve apps constantly throughout the day. With other phones we would often face delays between switching apps, with the HTC 10 it has been an absolute breeze! Personalization One of the greatest things about the new HTC 10 is the level of personalization. A majority of the phones on the market let you change your home and lock screen and move around and organize your apps, but that's about it. The HTC 10 brings personalization to whole new level with widgets that allow you to add weather animation, date and time as well as the option of changing the theme of your phone using "Freestyle Layouts". Theme support is built into Android Marshmallow, but the HTC 10 takes it to the next level. You can change the theme of your phone to look like a nature scene which will even change the app icons to look like animals! There is also an option of using "stickers" to change any app, widget and shortcut- the possibilities are endless! |
StyleFeaturing an all metal body, the sleek and stylish HTC 10 looks as much like art as it does a phone. There are two bold colors: Glacier Silver and Carbon Gray. The 5.2 inch 2K resolution display uses a new generation super LCD5 display which in turn provides color depth and a cinematic feel. Pictures and movies truly come to life on this phone!

SoundThe HTC 10 sets a new standard in sound quality with its brand new BoomSound Hi-Fi edition speakers and Personal Audio Profile. The sound is crystal clear with the option of controlling all of your sound features which include music, alarms, notifications and voice.

SnapsThe HTC 10 delivers what may be the best smartphone camera available on the market today. The phone features innovations like the world’s first OIS front and back, 12 million UltraPixels and fast laser autofocus. The colors and clarity of the photos are remarkable. With support for MicroSD cards up to 200GB in size, there will always be enough space for all of your high resolution pictures and videos.
