Ghost Hunting 101 at the Lord Baltimore Hotel!

Have you ever experienced paranormal activity or wanted to? If you are like me, you have learned all about ghosts, ghost hunting and hauntings via movies like the Ghostbusters, The Shining, The Sixth Sense and many others. Unfortunately most of those movies exaggerate a little. Have you run into Slimer on the street?! If you have any desire to learn about REAL ghosts, ghost hunts and seances you need to visit the Lord Baltimore Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland. Built in 1928 and one of the Historic Hotels of America, the Lord Baltimore Hotel is one of the Top 10 Most Haunted Hotels in the United States!
The Lord Baltimore Hotel
This luxury hotel was built a year before The Great Depression hit, which lasted from 1929-1939. Many people throughout the US lost all of their money and property during the Great Depression leading them to decide to cut their lives short. Some of these people figured that the Lord Baltimore Hotel was the perfect place to spend their last weekend in luxury and to end their lives by jumping off of the roof on the 19th Floor. Over 30 people died this way and it is said that a dozen of them are still haunting the hotel to this day!
With all of this paranormal activity going on, the hotel decided to let the public experience it for themselves with special escorted Haunted Tours and Haunted Overnights! The six hour "Haunted Overnight" is an incredible opportunity to learn about the history of the hotel while exploring hidden rooms and learning stories about the ghosts. The night also includes a special seance and a ghost hunt with special ghost hunting equipment (sorry no "Ghost Traps"). The tours are led by Vince Wilson who is an author and a paranormal expert. You may have seen him on TV or at one of his magic performances around the country.

Haunted Tours at the Lord Baltimore Hotel are conducted every Friday night. The six-hour Haunted Overnight is $50 per person which includes an optional $99 rate on a hotel room.
