Stunning beaches, decadent cuisine, amazing rooms... the Dreams Resort & Spa Tulum is an all-inclusive haven for anyone that wants an escape from reality. We were invited on a 3-day getaway to experience all that this resort and Tulum has to offer. We were so impressed with the amenities of the resort that we never left the property!
Once we arrived at this beautiful resort, we were greeted with cocktails and a brief description of the property, amenities and restaurants. Unlike a majority of all-inclusive resorts, the Dreams Resort & Spa Tulum does not require reservations at their fine dining restaurants leaving guests unencumbered with the stress of planning their meals out for the duration of their stay. |
Once we checked in, we were chauffeured in a mini golf cart to our luxurious Junior Suite. All 432 guest rooms and suites at the Dreams Tulum offer a private furnished patio or balcony, marble bathrooms, daily refreshed mini-bar and 24-hour room service. The resort also features swim out rooms and suites that offer direct access to a pool. Our suite had a huge balcony overlooking the garden and a view of the beach. The room was very spacious and included a fully stocked mini-bar complete with our favorite drinks and the bathroom had everything we needed including things we forgot like our toothpaste!
Once we got settled in, we headed straight for the beach and then the pool! In addition to off-site tours and excursions in Tulum, the resort offers a wide range of activities, from golf to snorkeling tours. For those that need relaxation there are several pools, a spa and of course relaxation on the beach! For the little ones there's a Mayan-themed Explorer’s Club which offers a fully supervised children’s program with lots of fun activities! Teens can also get in on the fun with the Core Zone Teen Club which offers sports and games. There's something to do for everyone in the family! Since we escaped from the hustle and bustle of New York City, we took full advantage of relaxing on the beach and sipping on one of the many fruity and fun cocktail options by the pool. For those that need a little more peace and quiet the resort offers a VIP Preferred Club which includes a private pool and private beach area for guests.
Besides hours of relaxing by the pool and on the beach we enjoyed the multitude of dining options the resort has to offer. We especially loved the authentic Mexican cuisine at the El Patio! With nine dining experiences, featuring six à la carte restaurants, a buffet, a grill and a café,-- you will never run out of options! The restaurants also cater to those that are vegetarian, vegan or have dietary restrictions like seafood allergies, gluten-free and dairy-free. From Italian to Sushi - there's literally something for everyone! What we loved most was the quality of the food and beverages we had during our stay, unlike most all-inclusive resorts which focus on quantity rather than quality. Another feature we loved is poolside dining and 24-hour room service! We could order all night if we wanted to, unfortunately we were tired out by all the poolside sunbathing!
The Dreams Resort & Spa Tulum is perfect for a quick getaway (or a long one) with your family, friends or a special someone. We loved every minute of our time at the resort and were very sad to leave! The fine dining experiences, luxury accommodations, exceptional service and of course the beautiful property make this an ideal dream getaway. The resort was very instgrammable (check out ours) and as they say in Tulum... "What happens in Tulum stays on Facebook"! Check out our video below for our experiences at the Dreams Resort & Spa Tulum!
