CEW 2019: A Beauty Lover's Dream!

​Celebrating their 65th Anniversary and 25th Anniversary of the Beauty Awards Program, Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) kicked off their annual Product Demo on February 28, 2019 in New York City. Over 3000 Beauty Addicts and CEW Insiders flocked to the Metropolitan Pavilion to learn about and experience the latest pioneering beauty products. There were over 800 products from 400 different brands. 

Featured products during the demo included everything from eyeliner to perfume from major beauty brands to indie brands. ​Beauty trends we noticed during the product demo included an increase in beauty supplements and body masks. We also noticed a big trend in Vegan and Aromatherapy products. With three floors of amazing beauty products to sample it was a beauty lovers dream! 

Annually CEW makes a selection of "Iconic Beauty Products", of which they determine winners and present CEW Beauty Insider Awards. The CEW Beauty Insider Award is one of the most coveted industry awards and it's the only one voted by industry insiders who know beauty best. This year many nominated products are vegan or include trending ingredients like charcoal and cannabis. Beauty wellness supplements and ingestibles are also on trend this year. 

​Attendees this year walked away with an increased knowledge of 2019 beauty trends, connections with indie and major beauty brands and an amazing gift bag full of hundreds of products from the nominees. Winners of the prestigious CEW Beauty awards will be announced at the CEW’s Beauty Insider Awards Luncheon on May 17, 2019 at the New York Hilton Midtown. Winners will be judged based on innovation, delivery system and packaging.
