Covid has impacted businesses across the globe, one entrepreneur was able to bring back the in-person beauty dream back to life by hosting a live pop-up store with Doors.nyc in New York City! Owner and Founder of Beautyque NYC Sonia Khemiri is currently disrupting beauty retail as once known, and has built more than 10,000 Beautyque subscribers and customers through marketing efforts.
Prior to the pandemic, people were accustomed to being in stores, so in-person shopping wasn’t a very exciting concept. “Now that things are starting to open back up with caution, people are more enthusiastic than ever to get back out to the stores,” Sonia believes. “The key now is to elevate the in-store experience and make it even better than it was pre-pandemic, so that in-person shopping doesn’t lose its edge. It’s about bringing all five senses to life in an experience and a safe environment around the subjects that matter most to both us and to our customers.” Beautyque NYC is a virtual 3D storefront and marketing platform for indie beauty brands. They were originally meant to be a physical store in SoHo but due to the pandemic they had to rethink their marketing strategy. In addition to the online storefront, they are hosting a pop-up shop in SoHo from September 7th, 2021 through October 5th, 2021 with Doors.nyc. The pop-up is located at 27 Greene Street, SoHo, NYC.
