BCBG’s 2011 Spring collection was held at Lincoln Center - stage. It was by far the most popular show and full of celebrity attendees. Some of the celebrities included Anna Wintour, Ashley Simpson, Kelly Rowland, Coco Rocha and Poppy Delevigne. Needless to say, the show was packed with A-listers, top photographers, buyers from Bloomingdale’s and Saks and fashionistas.
The collection consisted of 37 georgeous looks. Max Azria’s inspiration for his spring collection was “to create timeless, effortless, clean versatile silhouettes”. The runway consisted of white, pale grey, charcoal and taupe – all basic colors, of all lengths. The Macciato crepe short jumpsuit portrayed a confident and playful look, while the bare silk seersucker tiered dress displayed easy day to evening elegance.
BCBG has become one of the must have labels in the fashion industry. Celebrities such as Sharon Stone, Fergie, Dakota Fanning, Miley Cyrus and Vannessa Hudgens have at some point rocked BCBG at movie premieres, music awards as well as other A-list celebrity events. BCBGMAXAZRIA was created in 1989 and is sold in 600 boutique stores throughout the country. In 1991 Azria’s wife and muse, Lubov, became the creative director of the company. Her nickname, “bon chic, bon genre” was Parisian slang for good style, good attitude. The brand is a mixture of European sophistication and American spirit.
