UM|Date hosts Special Events that are ideal for the single South Asian professional.
What sets our service apart is that we have a twist to our events to ensure that everyone has a different conversation with each mini-date. Our social events will match you with daters who share similar ages, backgrounds, and interests! We are also the only company to donate a percentage of each ticket sale to charity!
Our speed dating events normally begin at 5:30 PM with the speed dating starting 30 minutes later. Each date lasts from 4 to 8 minutes long (depending on participant size). There is a 15-20 minute break half way through the event, which gives you enough time gather your thoughts on the people you just met, mingle some more, or get a drink. Each event has free appetizers and drink specials for daters, and everyone is welcome to stay after the event for an after-party.
Once a speed dater registers they will recieve an email from Urban Milan in regards to their "Dater Profile". Once a dater arrives to an event they will be given a "Match card" and "Dater Profile" to be used during the event. You will indicate which singles you are interested in; if the same person picks you--there's a match! We will forward you each other's contact information within 72 hours after the event!
Be ready to go on 10-20 dates per event. Our events are located in New York, & New Jersey. So get ready to meet some new and exciting people!
